Playgrounds Resurfaced in Tarmac
Playgrounds take constant foot traffic and years of weather. Worn patches, loose stone and lifted edges become trip hazards, and puddles that never drain stop children using part of the space. We plane or dig out the failed surface, repair the base and lay new tarmac with falls set so water runs to the drains.
Edges are finished against kerbs, edgings or the building line so the surface is held firm, and thresholds at doors and gates are kept flush for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

We are a family run groundworks business based in Staplehurst, and we bring over 20 years of experience to every school playgrounds job across Kent, East and West Sussex and south-east London.
The same small, friendly team surveys the job, prepares the ground and finishes the surface, so you deal with the people doing the work from the first visit to the final sweep.
We have worked on behalf of Kent County Council and utility companies, our team is registered with the Street Works Qualifications Register, and we are approved under the Trading Standards Buy With Confidence scheme.

Line Markings for Games
Once the surface is down, games and court markings are set out to the school’s own plan, such as hopscotch, number grids, running tracks or court lines. Agreeing the layout at the survey means the markings fit both the space and the way it is used at break times.

Resurfacing is best done when pupils are away. We plan the programme with your business manager or premises team so the work falls in the summer, Easter or half-term holidays, with the work area fenced off and staff access agreed in advance.
