Paths That Work Every Day
A good path follows the route people actually walk, from the gate to the front door or down the garden to a shed or patio. It needs to be wide enough to walk comfortably and to push a wheelbarrow or bin along, with edges that will not crumble.
We lay paths in natural stone, block paving, brick, resin bound or gravel, often matching an existing patio or driveway so the garden looks connected.
Our WorkAbout Us
Our Experience with Garden Paths & Steps
We are a family run groundworks business based in Staplehurst, and we bring over 20 years of experience to every garden paths and steps job across Kent, East and West Sussex and south-east London.
The same small, friendly team surveys the job, prepares the ground and finishes the surface, so you deal with the people doing the work from the first visit to the final sweep.
We have worked on behalf of Kent County Council and utility companies, our team is registered with the Street Works Qualifications Register, and we are approved under the Trading Standards Buy With Confidence scheme.

Garden Paths & Steps
Steps Built for Safe Footing
Outdoor steps need even risers and deep enough treads so nobody misjudges them, especially in the dark or the wet. We build the risers in brick or block on a concrete footing and cap them with treads that overhang slightly and fall forward so water runs off.
Where a slope is too steep for a gentle path, a short flight of steps or a retaining wall can make the garden much easier to get around.
